Messaging Compliance Rules
The rules Arino One applies to business messaging, in plain English, with a link to the official guidance for each one. Pick where your customers are to see what applies to you.
Where Your Customers Are
Each jurisdiction has its own data protection and marketing rules, and they overlap. Global rules — the channel's own policy and the basics of honest opt-in and opt-out — apply whichever one you pick.
European Union
GDPR, the ePrivacy rules on electronic marketing, and the EU AI Act for AI assistants.
United States
Federal and state rules on consent, opt-out and marketing by text and phone, plus carrier requirements.
Global
Channel policies such as WhatsApp's, and the rules that apply wherever your customers are.
How Arino One Applies the Rules
Compliance is built into the platform rather than bolted on: each of these is something your Arino One app does for you, and each one has an article that explains how it works.
Consent and opt-in
Only message people who asked to hear from you. The opt-in and where it came from are recorded with the contact.
Opt-out, honoured at once
Reply words such as Stop Promotions stop the messages across your channels, and the opt-out is logged.
AI disclosure
People are told when they are talking to an AI assistant, and that calls are recorded and transcribed.
Data retention
You set how long conversations and attachments are kept, and the platform applies it.
Erasure requests
Deletion requests reach the right people and are followed through to completion.
Provider credentials
Your provider accounts stay in your name. Credentials are stored safely and can be rotated.
Template approval
Message templates go through approval before they are used, so rejections are caught early.
Evidence you can show
Keep a record of what was sent, to whom and on what basis, so you can show your work.
Not Sure What Applies to You?
Tell us your channels, providers and the countries you message. We will tell you which rules bite, and what to fix first. Read how compliance works in Arino One, or ask us to check your app.
