Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the questions we are asked most. Longer treatments live in the linked sections.
Instance and regions
Every customer runs on a dedicated instance. You choose the region — EU, North America or APAC — at provisioning, and that sets where data is stored at rest.
Channels
The Infobip back-end is managed for you; you do not need your own contract. WhatsApp onboarding is paced by Meta business verification and template approval, not by technical work.
Commercial and legal
Billing is a platform subscription plus pass-through channel cost. You are the data controller; Arino One is the processor under the DPA.
Frequently asked
Is my instance shared with other customers?
No. Every customer runs on a dedicated, single-tenant instance with its own console, database and managed Infobip account.
Can I choose where my data is stored?
Yes. You choose EU, North America or APAC at provisioning. The region determines where message content, contacts and media are stored at rest.
Do I need my own Infobip contract?
No. The Infobip back-end is provisioned and managed as part of the service.
How long does WhatsApp onboarding take?
Typically a few days, driven by Meta business verification and template approval rather than by technical setup.
Can I migrate an existing WhatsApp number?
Yes, a number registered on another platform can be migrated, subject to Meta migration rules and a short downtime window.
Who is the data controller?
You are the controller for your customer data; Arino One acts as processor under the DPA.
