The setup wizard, step by step

Arino One PlatformDraft — not publishedUpdated 2026-09-30

The setup wizard is how a new Arino One instance configures itself. The first time you open a remixed instance with no users, it goes to /setup and walks you through four steps: create the Super Admin, connect Infobip, send a test message, and connect to Arino One.

Step 1 — Create the Super Admin

The first user you create becomes the Super Admin, the owner of the instance. Use an email address you check: step 4 sends the pairing code to it. See roles in your instance.

Step 2 — Connect Infobip

Paste your Infobip base URL, host only (for example xxxxx.api.infobip.com), and your API key. The key is stored encrypted and never leaves your instance.

Skipping Infobip

You can skip this step. The wizard then asks whether you want demo data, to explore with sample content, or a clean workspace. Either way, a Connect your Infobip button stays in the header until you connect.

Step 3 — Send a test message

Pick a sender and send a test message to your phone. Then scan the QR code on screen to reply, and check that the reply arrives in the inbox.

Trial Infobip accounts only deliver to numbers verified in Infobip. Add your number under Channels and Numbers → Test numbers in Infobip before you send.

Step 4 — Connect to Arino One

This step is optional and recommended. The owner receives a 6-digit code by email and enters it to pair the instance. See connecting your instance to Arino One.

After the wizard

Set the inbound webhook and the public app URL, then go live. Both are covered in set up your instance.
